About the Role

This internship offers exposure to evaluation activities; research related to International Financial Institutions (IFIs) and international event coordination. The intern will support experienced staff and contribute to a variety of tasks that strengthen ongoing projects and studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the organization of international events, including logistics coordination, scheduling, participant registration, and providing assistance before and during events.
  • Assisting with data collection and structuring for evaluation reports and studies.
  • Helping to coordinate selected evaluation activities, including arranging interviews and related communication.
  • Reviewing and summarizing literature and data on International Financial Institutions to support evaluation activities.

 

Applicants should:

  • Be students or hold a degree in economics and/or related field, preferably with focus and academic experience in: development economics; project finance, cost benefit and/or other quantitative analysis.
  • Have an excellent command of the English language.
  • Possess good MS Office/Cloud Programs skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Possess excellent presentation/writing skills.
  • Preferably have some background in international development or research.
  • Show interest in developing global experience and cultural sensitivity.
