About the Role
The intern will support the IT Help Desk team in delivering day‑to‑day technical assistance and ensuring the smooth functioning of the Bank’s IT environment. This role offers hands‑on exposure to hardware and software support, user assistance, and basic IT infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, transfer, and replacement of hardware and software.
- Provide first‑level technical support for IT‑related issues.
- Help organize, arrange, and store spare parts and equipment.
- Respond to user requests regarding IT technical problems.
- Support the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, including network, communications, and telephony systems.
- Contribute to ad hoc IT projects, such as user installations or relocations.
- Assist in implementing IT‑based solutions using ManageEngine tools and Microsoft PowerApps.
- Support the mobile device enrolment process.

- Be students or hold a degree in computer sciences or engineering.

About the Role
The intern will support the IT Department across a range of technical, operational, and project‑based activities. This role offers hands‑on experience in programming, IT asset management, user support, and the implementation of digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply programming knowledge in Java and Python to support departmental needs.
- Assist with IT asset management, including PCs, laptops, printers, and other equipment, as well as end‑user support.
- Use Microsoft Office 365 tools—including PowerApps, Power BI, and flows—to support the development of IT‑based solutions.
- Participate in documenting user requirements and creating business flows and process maps in Microsoft Visio.
- Support the development or adaptation of programs in the relevant languages to implement business processes.
- Support IT staff to maintain IT systems environment.
- Assist the IT team in providing basic IT services and technical support to BSTDB users.
