About the Role
The intern will support the External Relations Communications team in the coordination and delivery of both online and offline events, while also contributing to the maintenance of key stakeholder databases and daily outreach activities. This role offers hands‑on experience in event organization, stakeholder engagement, and communication workflows within an international institutional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating invitations, registrations, and support for speakers and participants at both online and in‑person events.
- Contribute to the preparation, setup, and delivery of physical events.
- Update and maintain the database of official, business, and media contacts.
- Engage in daily communication with MC authorities, sister IFIs, business partners, and media representatives.
Applicants should:
- Be students or hold a degree, preferably in political science, business administration, economics, or a related field.
- Have an excellent command of the English language.
- Knowledge of a language of any BSTDB member state is considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrate strong MS Office skills (particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Have experience in organizing business events.
- Show strong organizational and communication abilities.

- Possess advanced knowledge of social media platforms.

About the Role
The intern will play a supportive role within the Communications team, contributing to the Bank’s efforts to strengthen its digital presence and enhance engagement across social media platforms. Working closely with team members, the intern will gain hands‑on experience in digital communication, content creation, and community interaction while learning how strategic communication supports the Bank’s broader objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will assist with:
- Implementing the Bank’s social media and digital communication strategy.
- Initiatives aimed at empowering the Bank’s social media presence, including daily use of LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, and Instagram.
- Preparation and maintenance of a content editorial calendar.
- Creation and adoption of content tailored to each platform and to the BSTDB style.
- Engaging with the Bank’s online community.
Applicants should:
- Be students or hold a degree preferably in journalism, digital media or public relations or a related field.
- Have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of the language of any BSTDB member-state is an advantage.
- Possess strong MS Office skills (especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging communication materials, with guidance as needed.
