BSTDB President Speaks at the Tirana Economic Forum

Dmitry Pankin, President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) participated in the Third Tirana Economic Forum, held virtually on 12 March 2021. The event gathered Prime Ministers of the Western Balkans and  international political and business leaders to discuss cooperation  opportunities and challenges facing Albania and the Region.

Speaking at the panel on “Connectivity & Infrastructure”, Mr. Pankin emphasized Albania’s potential and great needs in modern infrastructure that would boost capacity in energy generation, tourism and other sectors. He called for greater government’s support for transparent procurement and project development capacity of public institutions. BSTDB is ready to help businesses develop feasible projects with the Bank’s newly established Technical Assistance Fund.
