About the Role

This internship offers the opportunity to support the DFI team in their daily activities. The intern will assist in preparing supervision monitoring materials, contributing to database development, gathering market intelligence, and ensuring proper record archiving. The role provides practical exposure to the operational environment of a development bank. Additional tasks may be assigned depending on departmental needs, offering broad learning experience across various functions

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of supervision monitoring reports (SMR) and clearing outstanding covenants.
  • Contribute to the development of databases.
  • Collect market intelligence data for targeted companies and relevant sectors.
  • Support the archiving and organization of records in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned, based on departmental priorities.

 

Applicants should:

  • Preferably be students either in the last years of an undergraduate program leading to a bachelor’s degree or in a graduate program leading to a master’s or a doctoral degree, of a university or equivalent. These studies should be related to development finance /banking/finance or economics.
  • Have an excellent command of the English language.
  • Possess strong MS Office skills.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and multitasking abilities.
  • Have strong communication skills.
