About the Role

This internship offers a solid introduction to how organizations manage and monitor operational risks. The intern will collaborate closely with the team and assist with a variety of tasks that support the department’s day‑to‑day activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assit with review, update, and assessment of key processes and controls, including narratives, flowcharts, and risk assessment matrices.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date process documentation.
  • Contribute to data collection for risk‑related activities.
  • Provide support on additional tasks as they arise, including assignments delegated by the Director.

 

Applicants should:

  • Be students or hold a degree, preferably in risk management or audit.
  • Have an excellent command of English (spoken/reading/writing skills).
  • Language of BSTDB member countries will be considered an advantage.
  • Have an intermediate command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Foundational understanding of risk management and audit principles.
  • Be able to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently and deliver results to meet tight deadlines.
  • Be able to function in an environment of diverse nationalities and working styles.
