Within the scope of cooperation between Ameriabank CJSC and BSTDB, almost EUR 23 million were channeled in 2021 to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Armenia. This loan is already the third credit facility signed between BSTDB and Ameriabank for supporting SMEs, the backbone of the Armenian economy.

This new 5-year loan will help SMEs to overcome the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic and boost their revenues. Ameriabank, as the leading financial institution in Armenia, has committed to utilize the funds from BSTDB to tailor lending products which will not only support local SMEs but also promote financing of women-led enterprises and green projects.

Since the year 2014 BSTDB has provided approximately USD 50 million to Ameriabank to facilitate SMEs access to finance and hence support the development of the Armenian economy.
