BSTDB Participates in the Delphi Economic Forum

Dmitry Pankin, President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) participated in the Delphi Economic Forum, which was conducted on-line on 12 June 2020. The event gathered international political and business leaders and academia to discuss the impact of the pandemic across economy and society.

Speaking at the panel on “Infrastructure Projects in the Region Post COVID-19”, Mr. Pankin emphasized the priority areas to support the post-pandemic recovery in the region, such as critical infrastructure, including healthcare and municipal infrastructure resilience, as well as the renewable energy projects, trade and supply chain finance. BSTDB is supporting economic openness and development solutions based on international cooperation. The BSTDB President highlighted the capital mobilization issues and financial instruments, such as blended finance, guarantees and unfunded risk participation, that will help the Bank contribute to the regional recovery in cooperation with development partners.
