- Description and Purpose of the Operation:
- Anadolu Efes was established in Istanbul in 1966. The operations of the Company consist of production of beer under a number of trademarks and bottling of soft drinks under Coca-Cola trademark and its raw materials. It is the leader of Turkish brewing and malt industry.. The Black Sea expansion project represents a high cooperation impact. EBI has established successful and profitable operations and markets and has further aspirations in the Black Sea Region.

BSTDB participation in the Project will: - Help bringing a positive development impact and; - Promote regional co-operation between the member countries.

- The environmental audit that has been undertaken internally by the Environmental Unit shows that, the Borrower is in compliance with subject legal requirements of the countries of operation, namely environmental, health and safety rules and regulations applicable to beer and soft drinks production.
