- BSTDB will provide an SME loan facility to Azer-Turk Bank to support micro, small and medium sized companies in Azerbaijan, with the purpose to finance investment programs for the creation, modernization, expansion and diversification, of industrial production, trade, agricultural or service related facilities.

- Developmental and Regional Cooperation Impact:
- In cooperation with Azer-Turk Bank, BSTDB extends long term funding to Azerbaijan, as well as to numerous small and medium-sized enterprises in Azerbaijan’s developing SME sector. It is to the interest of BSTDB, to facilitate economic development in member countries and to support local financial intermediaries to help this important SME sector to grow.
- Environmental Classification and Impact:
- The Borrower will be required to adopt Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures and undertake environmental assessment of the sub-loans with medium and high environmental risk, as well as ensure proper monitoring of these operations; ensure compliance of the sub- loans with applicable national EH&S requirements; continue to adhere to the Bank's Environmental Exclusion List and Negative List of Goods; submit annual EH&S performance reports.
