- Description and Purpose of the Operation:
- Brief description of the operation: BSTDB participates in a corporate loan facility arranged by EBRD that will fund the environmental rehabilitation and modernization of electricity generation Unit 6 of S.C. Complexul Energetic Turceni S.A., the third largest energy player of Romania. The project will allow Turceni to reduce its CO2 emissions by approximately 300,000 tonnes per year and will result in significantly reduced emissions of sulphur dioxide (SO2).
