Description and Purpose of the Operation:: EOS Hellenic Renaissance Fund II, Greece (EHRFII or Fund) purpose is to provide growth capital in order to finance investments of Greek SMEs and Small Mid-Caps active in F&B, hospitality services, pharmaceuticals, fintech, retail and industrials. This is an equity investment to the second equity fund established by EOS, as a co-investor alongside the Hellenic Development Bank of Investments SA, Greek banks, insurance companies, pension funds, listed companies, family offices and high-profile Greek entrepreneurs.

Developmental and Regional Cooperation Impact:: The Bank will invest, through the Fund, in Greek SMEs with high growth and export potential and enable them to successfully implement investment plans aiming to create added value to the Greek economy and respective local communities.
Environmental Classification and Impact:: E&S Category FI. The Fund complies with the BSTDB E&S requirements for Financial Intermediaries. The E&S due diligence of EOS Fund 2 concludes that notable improvements have been adopted to its ESG management system since the previous operation (EOS Capital Partners 1). The Fund thus designed its internal sustainability system as per existing best practices, including the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation. The EOS Fund will be required to continue following its corporate ESG management system including observing the E&S Exclusion List; remain compliant with subject national legislation in effect; and submit annual E&S performance reports.
